Day 6 - Bathrooms

Still raining. Still gloomy. Still cold. But tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 70's and then 80's for the next week. I AM SO EXCITED! Now, enough of a weather report. :) Today I did the bathrooms. I keep my bathrooms really clean so this wasn't too hard for me today; just a lot more organizing I guess. On to the challenge:

Day 6

Clean - Bathrooms. If neglected, they can become quite dirty. Remember, only do this  list because we'll be back to the bathroom later. Today's task:
  • spray shower with cleaner and let sit while doing the following:
  • remove hard water build up around the taps and drains
  • clean mirror
  • clean toothbrush holder
  • wipe over vanity and all other items on vanity
  • refill soap dispenser (if needed)
  • wipe over window sills
  • clean window
  • wipe bathtub and tile
  • wipe over sinks
  • scrub and rinse shower
  • clean toilet
Declutter - Bathroom vanity counter. Remove as much as you can from the vanity to make it look tidier and easier to clean.

Organize - Shower caddy. Do you have to have all that in the shower? If no, do you need it at all? No? Get rid of it!

New Habit - Clear and wipe vanity. While brushing your teeth at night put away all items left on vanity. Once finished wipe over counter top and sink.

5 Minutes Only - Get a plastic bag and clean out your car.

Before Clean/Declutter - Both bathrooms had ample amounts of clutter. Things just weren't put up where they need to be.

Ha.. notice the ponies in B's bathroom.. she was teaching them how to use the potty. :)

Clean/Declutter After - Everything is put up where it needs to be. Doesn't it just shine? I love it.

Organize - Nothing really to show here. We have two mall shelves in our shower, one for each of us, and they pretty much consist of shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Simple. All Brylee's bath stuff is up out of her reach (I caught her giving all her babes a bath one day.. ha!)

5 Minutes Only - My car needed it! It hasn't been cleaned out since before Christmas and after being in the shop for a few days it was a mess.  As soon as that 80 degree day rolls around I'm taking it to get washed.

I'm off to take a much needed nap!
